    At nearly 80, Jean-Philippe Rameau put all his energy into a final lyric tragedy, intended for the celebrations marking the end of the Seven Years' War, and died without having been able to hear his musical testament.     Reinoud van Mechelen has already triumphed as Prince Abaris. At the head of his ensemble A nocte temporis and an enthusiastic cast, he takes on this magnificent role for this first performance in Beaune.
