Le Jeu et les Moulins

Start: square in front of the church (car park).
Opposite the town hall, go up the D262.
At the first crossroads (388), go straight ahead, then turn left at the next crossroads.

Cross the D262 and go straight on (364).
Cross the D114 and continue straight ahead towards Grand Laume, then Petit Laume.
Stay on the main road.

After these farms, take the path on the right (statue of the Virgin Mary can be seen in a grove in the meadow on the right).
Pass over the Cognières pond dyke and continue as far as the old Gué mill (wheel visible).

Take the path on the right, cross the Braconne river, then turn right again until you reach a tarmac lane, which you turn right onto.

At the hamlet of Bas du Jeu, the road bends to the left.
After the pond, turn left again: the road passes the Château du Jeu.
Continue for 500 m, then turn right at the first track (signposted for mountain bikes), which you should follow along the edge of the wood.

This path joins a wider track: take this to the right.
It leads back to the D114, which you should follow to the right as far as the 2? crossroads.

Turn left onto the small Méchaux road, which leads back to the village.
