La Chapelle de Montartaux

Start - Mairie :
Cross the car park behind the town hall and turn right at an angle.
Take the dirt track that joins the old railway line.
Turn left, pass under the bridge and continue as far as the crossroads.
Cross the crossroads and drive alongside the Puits Hottinguer and the old station.
Take the path marked by two large boulders.

Towards La Garenne :
Turn left at the sign for "Le Curier par la Garenne".
Take the Rue du Morvan into the Garenne district.
At the stop sign, cross the road and take the Chemin Noir.

Stadium > Le Curier :
At the stadium (signposted Puits de la Garenne), go right for a few metres, then turn left to go alongside the stadium.
At the crossroads, leave the house on your left and go straight ahead along a good track as far as Le Curier.

Route de Molinot :
Turn left onto Route de Molinot as far as the crossroads (signposted Puits du Curier).
After a few metres on the road, turn right onto the first track.

Towards Ressille :
Once on the road, turn left, go up for a few metres, then continue on the left-hand lane towards Ressille.
At the crossroads in the centre of the hamlet, take the minor road to Aubigny-la-Ronce.
Follow this road for 1.5 km.
When the road bends, turn left onto a wide track and follow it straight ahead until you reach the Montartaux chapel.
Then head back down towards Ressille along the same track, then along the tarmac road back to the previous crossroads.

Return to Epinac:
Pass in front of the cross, then turn right down rue du Calvaire.
At the fork in the road, go straight on to the Queue Rousselle farm.
Follow the track to the D217.
Turn left for around 100 metres.

Promenade de Monestoy > Arrival :
Go right up the embankment to find the old railway line, the Promenade de Monestoy.
Follow this track as far as Epinac station.
Then follow the route back to the town hall car park.
