The 1st Topo Athletic Bibracte Ultra-Trail® is fast approaching in the Morvan Regional Nature Park (Burgundy-Franche-Comté)! On 13, 14 and 15 November 2026, Bibracte, the ancient Gallic capital, will be the setting for a sporting and cultural adventure featuring 5 exceptional races, from 11 to 180 km.
On the programme: hills, forests, mud, sweat and conviviality in the heart of the Bibracte-Morvan des Sommets Grand Site de France. Burgundian Cédric Chavet, a leading figure in the world's most demanding ultra-trails, will be the patron of this first edition.
Organised by Bibracte and the Morvan Oxygène association, in close partnership with the tourist offices and the partners and municipalities involved in the Grand Site de France label, the Topo Athletic Bibracte Ultra-Trail® is a collective adventure in the heart of a rural area that is keen to preserve and promote its natural and cultural heritage.
Around the Bibracte archaeological site, the course will feature 5 races ranging from 11 km to 180 km, with intermediate formats of 35, 70 and 100 km. These races will test runners' endurance and technique on the trails of the Grand Site de France. Between deep forests, unspoilt hedgerows, ancient paths and Gallo-Roman remains, each stride will allow participants to discover the mysteries of the Morvan mountains in the heart of autumn, taking advantage of an exceptionally dense network of rural paths.
Several hundred participants are expected to take part in this exceptional experience with family, friends or even colleagues.
