In the marvellous setting of the Paldenshangpa Temple in La Boulaye, I offer a summer Qi Gong course and individual Shiatsu sessions.

I'm Anna Lisa, a Qi Gong teacher from the San Yi Quan School, directed by Maître Georges Charles, for over 10 years; I'm also a Shiatsu, Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist abdominal massage) and massage practitioner and a professional in Chinese Energy dietetics.

On the programme: practices based on Yi Yin Fa (pre-nutrition practices) and Dao Yin Fa (the series of 8 Brocade Pieces), self-massages and study of the main acupuncture points (their action and use to relieve imbalances in everyday life), Meridian Stretches, the 6 Therapeutic Sounds.
And, of course, individual Shiatsu sessions.

The course is open to everyone, even beginners, because it's the practice that adapts to the practitioner and not the other way round!

    - Course materials will be provided for the Qi gong workshops.
    - Bring a yoga mat, one or two cushions and a bottle of water.
    - It is possible to stay and eat on site: for information about accommodation and meals, contact the Paldenshangpa Temple directly.
    - It is also possible to take only one or two days.

    Focus on the practices offered:

QI GONG is a form of gymnastics designed to awaken our vital energy, using standing, sitting and lying postures, both static and dynamic, self-massages and stretching, to increase and refine the perception and harmonious circulation of our own internal energy.
This perception increases the capacity for concentration and attention, while the body is enriched with vitality.
Practising Qi Gong allows you to take the time to slow down, to listen to yourself and rediscover your own inner calm.
And, since it's "the practice that adapts to the practitioner", and not the other way round, Qi gong is suitable for people of all ages and with different motor abilities and health conditions.

DAILY STRETCHING is a series of 6 specific stretches for the 6 pairs of energy meridians, created by Master Shizuto Masunaga.
These exercises, practised regularly, develop our Qi, strengthen the energy of the Hara (belly) and support the suppleness of muscles, tendons and vessels. They lead us to a state of relaxation in a very gentle way: breathing becomes calmer and body awareness increases.
They help us to combat stress and regain elasticity and agility, for overall psycho-physical well-being; they stimulate the body's main functions (breathing, circulation, digestion), encouraging our body's healing power.

SHIATSU (Japanese for 'finger pressure') is a complementary manual technique that regulates the body's energy at all levels: physical, energetic, mental and psycho-emotional.
Through a dynamic body massage that links the body segments together, with stable, continuous pressure and stretching applied to the whole body, Shiatsu helps to achieve a state of well-being and relaxation, improve the flow of energy in the body and the meridians, and improve joint mobility/flexibility.

SIX SOUNDS meditation is based on an ancient Taoist practice that uses the vibratory power of sound to help the body's organs to transform and eliminate the negative emotions associated with them, and thus maintain good health.
Regular practice of the Six Sounds enables you to stay in touch with the energetic and emotional state of your internal organs.
This meditation is particularly effective in the evening, as it dissipates the emotions and tensions accumulated during the day, allowing your sleep to recharge your batteries more effectively.
