Nuits du Mont Rome - Journée musicale à Dracy-Lès-Couches

For the 26th edition, we are inaugurating a new formula for our traditional musical day.
We're delighted to be taking over the Château de Dracy - a loyal partner for many years. The de Charette family is opening its doors to us, its park, its winery, its courtyard... so the music will be resounding everywhere.
We'll also have the chance to meet Benoît de Charette, President of the Cité des Climats et des Vins de Bourgogne, who will talk to us about Burgundy's terroirs, their origins and the history of Burgundy wines. The event will close with a talk by Pascal Zavaro, music composer, who will show us how wine and music are intimately linked. Then, following in the footsteps of the Glyndebourne festival in the UK, we'll get together after a tasting of the estate's wines for a giant picnic in the park... and it's under the 250-year-old cedar that we'll unfold the tablecloths!
As night falls, the back of the park will welcome us for the evening concert "Kiki à Paris", this muse, model and bohemian icon of the Roaring Twenties who inspired generations of artists, we will celebrate her life through a selection of emblematic songs. So get out your hats and come and enjoy this magnificent day in a unique setting... We're looking forward to a great time!

Programme:
Meet at 3.30pm at the Salle des fêtes in Dracy-lès-Couches.
4pm: Surprise afternoon concerts in private venues opened for the occasion.
5.30pm: An encounter with Burgundy's terroirs, in the château's winery, hosted by Benoît de Charette (the origin and history of Burgundy wines).
7pm: Giant picnic (included in the day's price) in the grounds of Château de Dracy, with tasting of the estate's wines. 8.30pm: Concert in the park*

"Kiki à Paris": immerse yourself in the spellbinding atmosphere of Paris in the Roaring Twenties with this concert-cabaret dedicated to the legendary Kiki de Montparnasse. This muse, model and bohemian icon has inspired generations of artists, and we celebrate her life through a selection of iconic songs.
