Between 100 and 180 choristers, mainly from departments 58, 71 and 21 but also from all over France, perform the greatest hits of French pop music at a concert at the end of the workshops in a venue that can accommodate between 300 and 900 spectators, depending on the package. All this takes place in a festive and nostalgic atmosphere.
Participants in these workshops work individually on five to ten songs (depending on the duration of the workshop) using audio recordings and sheet music for two months before coming together. This system ensures a high-quality final performance after two or four days of working together.
They are accompanied and conducted by the choir director David AUBRET (director of Escales Vocales), who has many years’ experience in choral conducting.
