La journée des sapeurs pompiers

For the second time, Autun's service clubs have joined forces to organise a joint event.

The Anysetiers, the Rotary Club, the Lions Club, the Kiwanis, the Jeune Chambre Economique and the Club des 40 et plus d'Autun, as well as the Association des Entreprises de l'Autunois, have decided to pool their ideas and strengths to raise awareness of first aid and firefighting in Autun. A fund-raising event will also be organised for the charity "Oeuvre des pupilles des sapeurs-pompiers de France", which helps the children of firefighters who have died or been injured in the line of duty.

The event will take place in front of the town hall, with the participation of firefighters from the Autun company, and will conclude with a gala evening at the Salle de l'Hexagone.

All proceeds will go to the charity for the wards of the fire brigade. As well as raising awareness of first aid and raising funds, the aim is to bring together all the key players in the region around this theme.
