How do you deal with problems of housing, employment, mobility, budgeting or access to rights? And how can each of us take practical action at our own level? These questions will be the focus of the Journée départementale des solidarités (Departmental Solidarity Day).
Supported by the prefecture, the departmental council, the Medef and the CPME of Saône-et-Loire, the day will bring together more than 50 speakers and exhibitors - associations, institutions, public operators and businesses.
Through events, conferences, serious games and meetings, visitors will be able to find out more about the assistance and schemes offered by social players, on a range of themes: access to rights, budgeting, health, food, employment, inclusion, independence and housing.
One of the highlights of the afternoon will be a round-table discussion on corporate commitment, bringing together business leaders, economic networks and committed organisations to share their experiences and the different ways in which the business world can play a part in local solidarity.
With the support of Crédit Agricole, Solaal, the Chamber of Agriculture and the IGBC collective, a solidarity meal will be served at mid-day, with a contribution from the participants. Profits will be donated to local food aid associations for the purchase of products from local producers.
The day will continue in the evening at the Château de la Verrerie, with a theatrical performance of "Empreintes sur le chemin" by the Compagnie Rêver tout haut - a show about mutual aid, the journey of no return and the desire for a new life (5.45-7pm).
