Universal fairy tales transcend time and culture.
The versions collected in the 19th century reflect the place of women in the patriarchal French society of the time.
But what about today? More contemporary versions, whether told in story or transposed into cartoons, books or films, are not devoid of these kinds of stereotypes and the violence they engender, particularly against women.

Through five tales and myths and two life stories, this show highlights the violence suffered by women and people who are different. This emotionally-charged show turns our perceptions on their head. It raises the debate about the place and role of each and every person in our society.
