Herbiers en fête

A festive family event organised by the Association Herbiers du Morvan. This day is dedicated to sharing knowledge about wild, cultivated, medicinal and edible plants. It brings together PPAM (Perfumed, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants) growers and other Morvan players whose activities are centred on plants: basketry, plant dyes, botany, etc.
The day includes activities for children (seed beads, readings, storytelling, insect discovery workshop) and adults (basket-making, lecture, herbalist workshop, distillation workshop, botanical walk, watercolour painting).
The plant village brings together products made by the producers: loose and blended herbal teas, hydrolats, syrups, pestos, spices, essential oils, medicinal plants, etc.
The day will be a festive one, with on-site catering (organic and local), an eco-responsible refreshment bar and musical entertainment throughout. A show for the general public closes the event: "l'Essence des Plantes" by the Mangano company.
