Fête Nationale

To mark National Day, Autun and its partners are joining forces to offer residents and visitors a day of fun and entertainment at the ancient theatre.

All day:
Local organisations will be serving drinks and snacks on site.

Community events – Visitors will be able to enjoy:
- dance demonstrations by Danse Passion and Borderline Coaching;
- concerts and entertainment with Les Beurdins;
- an introduction to archery organised by the Archers de l’Autunois-Morvan;
- a display of racing cars by the Family Racing team and Air Neuf;
- giant table football, also organised by Air Neuf;
- a fishing competition organised by the Union Gaule Autunoise and Pêcheurs Morvandiaux;
- a gymnastics demonstration by the Alliance Gymnastique Autun and La Vaillante.

Also taking part this year:
ASA Rugby, Autun Running, Sporting Club, the Saint-Pan Youth Association, the GAM Urban Dance School, the Echiquiers du Morvan, the equestrian section of the Autun Military School and 8 Pool Club Billard.

A big thank you to all these organisations from the voluntary sector who come together to showcase our town’s dynamic spirit!

From 5.00 pm:
The Stilt Walkers of Togo: The Afuma company will present its ‘Stilt Walkers of Togo’ show, combining giant stilts, acrobatics and street performances.
Cho Kairin Company: several artistic and visual performances throughout the evening.
Giant zip line: a zip line will span the Roman Theatre, allowing the public to experience the site from a unique perspective.
Mechanical bull: take part in the mechanical bull competition.
Musical entertainment: a large stage will host musical performances and a DJ throughout the evening.

10.45 pm: Fireworks display launched from the lake and visible from the ancient theatre.
Until midnight: DJ night.
