Conference and discussion with Yves Marre
A French hospital barge in Bangladesh

The village hall in La Chapelle-sous-Uchon will welcome Yves Marre for a talk and discussion about his career and his book Navigateur soliDaire.

Yves Marre will be sharing the true story of an exceptional human adventure: the convoying of a French barge converted into a floating hospital to Bangladesh. This account retraces a journey marked by sailing, humanitarian commitment, encounters and the determination to bring an extraordinary project to fruition.

The evening will take the form of a talk followed by a discussion with the public. It will be an opportunity to discover an experience of international solidarity, but also to better understand the motivations, difficulties and highlights of this crossing.

A book-signing session for the book Navigateur soliDaire will follow the event, for those who wish to attend.
