The Cologne Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble delight their audiences by transforming well-known melodies through their interpretations, while at the same time making them shine in new colours. Their fine sensitivity in interpretation, technical perfection in mastering the instrument and solo virtuosity are the hallmarks of this international ensemble based in Cologne.

Sergey Didorenko has been the ensemble's first violinist since 2010. His violin playing is characterised by technical perfection combined with great sensitivity. Critics describe his mastery of the violin as "a ballet of cascades of sound dancing on the strings". Indeed, her crystalline interpretations will have you taking even the tiniest key seriously.
