VTT XC Rouge - La Hot'Cotes

Our territory has been developing its cycling offer since the 1990s with its integration into the F.F.C. mountain bike site Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan, in Autun it is 170 kilometres of mountain bike routes.

In 2011, creation of 4 DH tracks (1 green, 1 blue, 1 red and 1 black) on the site of the Croix de la Libération with the setting up of a shuttle service and the organisation each year of a round of the Burgundy downhill cup (Association Mesvrin VTT).

The ESN building, the gateway to the Bike Park and the Marcel Lucotte leisure centre, is equipped with a reception room with disabled access, changing rooms, a mountain bike hire service provided by the town of Autun, a washing and small repair station, and secure bike storage facilities for recharging electric bikes.

In 2014, the construction of a "Pump Track" in asphalt on the edge of the lake, one of the first in France.

In 2016, opening of a greenway linking Autun to Nolay (21).

And in 2022, construction of the XCO stadium, which will host, among other things, the departmental UNSS mountain bike championship on 22 March 2023 and the academic championship on 5 April.

This offer, integrated into the Base de Loisirs Marcel Lucotte entity within the Espace Sport Nature (ESN) building, has its own logo: "Autun Bike Park-Sud Morvan".
