Stage de 3 jours d'arts plastiques

This rural workshop, born from the Spire Création association, has just celebrated its 22 years of existence.
Originally created in Ligny en Brionnais, in the south of the Saône et Loire between Marcigny and Charlieu, the association welcomed its students and trainees in a renovated stable with whitewashed walls. Some people did not hesitate to come from Gueugnon, Macon, Roanne, Paray le Monial, Marcigny to participate in the sessions and courses.

Today, our association has changed location, renewed its office but pursues the same objective, that of awakening the creative potential that lies dormant in each person, developing training in plastic arts, contributing to leisure activities and promoting intergenerational relations; indeed, depending on the workshops chosen, what could be more pleasing than to see people over 75 years of age meet with young people or children, each one finds his or her own interest and the exchanges are rich and stimulating!

THE WORKSHOPS take place over 3 DAYS during all school holidays: February, Easter, July, August
YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS the understanding of volumes and their transposition, the question of colours, harmonies, the history of art...
No subject is taboo and according to the motivations, the workshop welcomes on its easels: animals of the countryside or the jungle, boats, landscapes, compositions of objects or floral compositions...
documentary studies of objects found in nature... but also live models or fashion design. All techniques are covered: gouache, charcoal and sanguine, pastel, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media...

THE KEY WORD: LEARN TO LOOK, TO FEEL AND TO EXPRESS YOURSELF...

A preparation to the Art Schools is possible for the young people who wish it. Micheyle helps them to prepare their application file for selection by a jury.
Workshops at home can be organised for people with reduced mobility or disabilities.

Micheyle Marlier is an art teacher, portrait painter and storyteller.
She has exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris and in galleries in the provinces and Paris; she has won prizes but she no longer exhibits, preferring to devote herself to her students and her studio work.
