Notre-Dame de l'Aillant

Start - Mairie :
Take the D2 north through the village.
After 500 m, turn left at the cross for the hamlet of Joux.
After 100 m, turn right at the second cross.
Join the D2, cross it and take the tarmac road opposite.
Continue for 100m, then turn left onto a narrow path.
This joins the D2 again, which you cross again to take the path leading up to Notre-Dame de l'Aillant.

Ascent to Notre-Dame de l'Aillant :
After climbing for 700m, take the path on the left.
After 50 m, reach the statue of the Virgin and the viewpoint.
Retrace your steps and turn left to join the yellow markings.
The path climbs up to the forest road: turn left.
After 20 m, turn left just before the ONF gate.

Descent into the forest > GR13 :
Descend through the forest for 1 km.
Walk 50 m along the section shared with the GR13, then turn right.
Follow the path for 100 m and ford a stream.
Continue for 100 m, then turn right at the entrance to a meadow.
After 200 m, turn left, cross a second ford and continue for 850 m.

To Les Grelodots :
When you reach the road, turn left.
Cross the bridge, then take the left-hand path - Les Grelodots.
Continue as far as the cross, then turn right to join the D2.

Return to the town hall: Turn right onto the D2 and return to the town hall.
