In Beaune, within easy reach of all local shops, the “Les Charlotte” holiday cottage – situated away from a shopping area, at the rear of the owners’ house and a 20-minute walk from the historic town centre – offers: on the ground floor: a large dining room opening onto the lounge, with a fireplace, offering direct access to the terrace; a fully equipped kitchen; 2 bedrooms, each with a 160 cm bed; 1 bathroom with a large shower and bath; 1 separate toilet. Upstairs: on the mezzanine level, a lounge with a TV and bookcase, one bedroom with a 160 cm bed, one shower room with a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. Wi-Fi. Air conditioning. Baby equipment available on request (cot and high chair). Outside: large terrace with awning, garden furniture, plancha. Small vineyard in front of the terrace. Private enclosed car park at the rear. Non-smoking gîte. Maximum of 2 pets at no extra charge.

The owners, who are passionate about their local area, are on hand to help you discover, if you wish, the ‘good life’ in Burgundy (horse-drawn carriage rides, cookery workshops… to be booked on site).

Places to visit: Beaune, internationally renowned for its vineyards and its famous Hospices, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Numerous events throughout the year: film festivals, the Hospices de Beaune wine auction… Restaurants and wine tasting cellars. Walks along the ramparts or in the Parc de la Bouzaise, cycle routes through the vineyards between Beaune and Santenay (bike hire available in the village). Also worth exploring along the Route des Grands Crus are renowned wine-growing villages such as Meursault, Pommard, Puligny, Chassagne-Montrachet and Volnay...
