Take the time to explore the Morvan with a guided tour of the Morvan Resistance Museum and the Maison des Hommes et des Paysages.

Thanks to its extensive collection, the Resistance Museum brings history to life. Numerous objects, archive documents, equipment, photographs and weapons are on display across three galleries: Occupation, Resistance, Liberation and Remembrance. Located halfway through the museum, a screening area immerses visitors in the daily life of the maquis: their operations, camps, the role of the leader, hunger, fear, courage…

Focusing on the theme of exchanges and migration, the Maison des Hommes et des Paysages will take you on a journey through the history of the Morvan and its landscapes, presenting in an original and interactive way the evolution of the inhabitants’ daily lives, their skills and their relationship with the environment…

LUNCH:
Surrounded by nature, in a decidedly contemporary setting furnished with locally made furniture, enjoy a menu featuring local produce in a friendly atmosphere.

AFTERNOON:
Discover the secrets behind the production of the flaky savoury biscuits at the “Bon Vivant” biscuit factory. During a tour of the factory, learn about the different stages of biscuit production and finish with a tasting session! After this action-packed day, take a stroll through the heart of the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois.
