Journée "Autun et Beaune"

MORNING :
Autun, a whole history" guided tour. This tour gives a complete overview of the town. You'll discover the incredibly well-preserved Gallo-Roman monuments (ancient theatre, gates, ramparts, temple of Janus). The tour ends with a visit to the cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque art with its tympanum, chapels and capitals.

Lunch at Le Petit Rolin restaurant, opposite Autun Cathedral.

AFTERNOON :
Guided tour of the famous Hospices de Beaune. The jewel of Burgundy, the Hôtel-Dieu was founded in 1443 by the chancellor Nicolas Rolin and is a masterpiece of Franco-Flemish architecture.

To round off the day, there are two options:
- Visit the Caves Patriarche (the largest wine cellars in Burgundy). You'll wander through this labyrinth of 5 km of vaulted galleries, dating back to the 13th century and housing millions of bottles. The tour ends with an exceptional wine tasting.

- Sensations Fortes" visit to the Fallot mustard factory. You will discover all the stages in the transformation of the mustard seed, from the storage silo to the packaging of the finished product. Then you'll taste all the flavours.
