Éliane and Pascal welcome you to their contemporary house, nestled in the heart of the Chalonnaise countryside, just 3 km from the historic town of Couches, a designated "Green Holiday Resort." Don't miss its famous 13th-century castle, where legend has it that Margaret of Burgundy stayed for a few days! Take a stroll through the village to admire the Romanesque church with its woodwork, the Château de la Tour Guérin, the priory – a monastery that became an abbey and then a priory again – the Templar house, the seven Neolithic menhirs of Epoigny, and finally the Château de Mardor – the former residence of the Montagu family, later a hospital, and then donated to the Red Cross, which still owns it. This spacious, comfortable, and bright cottage boasts a warm, contemporary décor. Enjoy the gravel courtyard for a relaxing moment or settle in the shade of the garden trees to admire the view of the Chalonnaise countryside and the first rows of vineyards! Enjoy the wine and local produce offered by the owners upon your arrival, while relaxing on the pleasantly furnished covered terrace!
