Corinne welcomes you to an "eighties" pavilion, fully restored and reimagined as a comfortable holiday home, nestled in peace and quiet on a "mini panoramic promontory" on a hill overlooking the surroundings (including the bucolic private pond of Chevannes in the background), tucked away on the edge of a vast plateau of fields & meadows (with the famous local Charolais cows as close neighbors), a stone's throw from the banks of the Arroux (a bucolic natural river teeming with fish, punctuated by beautiful natural beaches and "water holes" to cool off in the summer), as well as the renowned site of the "Pierre qui Croule" (Crumbling Stone), a mysterious 47-ton granite mass steeped in legends and mysteries. In the heart of the gently rolling and perfectly preserved Morvan countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF area for its rich flora and fauna), nestled in a small residential and agricultural hamlet, next to the village of La Boulaye, a commune in the Morvan Regional Natural Park renowned for housing the illustrious Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple (founded in 1974 by a Tibetan lama), better known as the "Temple of a Thousand Buddhas," a true gem and a unique example of Asian architecture in Burgundy, an absolutely magical place to discover (whether as a casual visitor or as part of a retreat or workshop). A peaceful rural and natural setting combining agriculture and the great outdoors, with verdant hedgerows dotted with rivers and ponds, cultivated fields, and vast wild forests. Comfortable, spacious, and bright cottage with a large living area. A warm, contemporary style, playfully enlivened by a few charming 80s touches, a nod to the house's origins. A peaceful and serene atmosphere. A beautiful panoramic terrace overlooks a pleasant 1500m² garden, landscaped with lawn and trees, featuring a lovely, naturally shaded relaxation area under birch trees – a safe and secure "playground" for children. Beautiful, unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.
Composition: Detached house. Wi-Fi (fiber optic). Heat pump heating. Air conditioning. Table football in the basement (games room). The gîte is on the first floor (accessed via a small staircase up the hillside): living room/kitchen/lounge, 3 bedrooms with TVs (2 single beds 90x200cm / 1 double bed 140x190cm / 2 single beds 90x200cm), shower room, separate WC. Enclosed garden (1500m²) + terrace + bicycle storage + private parking. Small shops and supermarket 9 km away.
