This autumn rendezvous continues to be a special event, combining a high-quality musical programme worthy of the CEMB's expertise with a rare moment of conviviality in a setting steeped in history.
Reserve your evening on Saturday 04 October 2025 to attend the exceptional concert by the CHANTEGREVE ensemble in the Salle des Pôvres at the Hospices de Beaune.
The solo concert at the Salle des Pôvres with the CHANTEGREVE ensemble:
During the concert, you will hear works by Handel, Bach, Strozzi, Bembo, Thomas and Leonarda.
The ensemble is made up of internationally renowned artists:
- Hélène Walter, soprano: a professional opera singer trained at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, she performs in Switzerland, France and throughout Europe.
- David Walter, oboe: a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he has won international acclaim with 5 awards in major competitions. His solo career has taken him to all five continents.
- Vérène Westphal, cello: she studied at the CNSMD in Lyon and at Sibelius Akademia (Finland). She has performed with the Opéra de Lyon (John Eliot Gardiner) and with Les Musiciens du Louvre, La Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy, le Concert spirituel, the Maîtrise du Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, etc.
- Johan Treichel, harpsichord: a keen chamber music and ensemble player, he is notably pianist with the Ensemble Symphonique de Neuchâtel and a member of the electronic music duo. He is also organist at the collegiate church of Saint-Imier in the Bernese Jura.
