This time, in addition to the monumental works of Guillaume Dufay, master of the Burgundian school, Lila Hajosi has chosen to contrast the music of his Byzantine contemporaries Chrysaphes and Plousiadenos. This is a striking evocation of the rich musical history of the 14th century, which saw artists and thinkers from both sides of the Mediterranean make a final attempt to achieve a spiritual union between East and West.
