Cité des Présents-François Mitterrand

Located in the heart of the Morvan region, the Cité des Présents-François Mitterrand is a cultural space in Château-Chinon that brings together the museums of fashion and presidential gifts. The museums have been completely refurbished, and the itineraries redesigned, offering visitors an enriched experience of almost 2,000 m² of exhibition space.
The collections, which combine fashion, craftsmanship, diplomatic history and rare and unusual items, bear witness to François Mitterrand's deep attachment to his region, its culture, its people and to France.

Throughout 2026, the Cité des Présents-François Mitterrand offers a wide range of cultural activities (workshops, lectures, concerts and shows), particularly during school holidays and national events such as Rendez-vous aux jardins and the European Heritage Days.
