Circuit du Balcon du Morvan

Start:
Descent to Moulin Cassé
Take the small road on the left (GR13).
Cross the bridge.
At Moulin Cassé, follow the yellow signs and turn right towards Les Berthiers.

Climb towards Les Berthiers :
Climb for 300 m.
At the 1st junction, leave the GR13 and continue straight on.
After 500 m, pass to the left of the Château des Berthiers.
Join the road and turn left.

Towards Valotte and Les Buissons :
Go 250 m, then take the track on the right as far as Valotte.
Stay on the tarmac road.
Drive 500 m to Les Buissons, passing the farm.
After 250 m, turn right.
After 100 m, turn left and follow the path for 1 km.

Le Treuil - Aizy - Mont Rousseau sector:
At Le Treuil, take the road on the left for 750 m.
When you reach the D256, cross it and follow the minor road for 500 m as far as Aizy.
At the stop sign on the D224, turn left towards the Etang d'Aizy.
Follow the road for 250 m.
After the bridge, turn right (tarmac 10 m, then dirt track).

Climb towards Mont Rousseau:
Drive for 1 km.
At the 1st junction, turn right.
After 250 m, another junction: turn right and follow the small forest track to Mont Rousseau.
The Croix de la Roche is visible in the triangle of roads, among the fir trees.

Towards Petit Corfeuil and Les Brosses :
At the Petit Corfeuil junction, turn left onto a narrow path (signposted for mountain bikes).
Reach the track leading to the Brosses farm and take the narrow path opposite for 50 m.

Return via Champignolle - Moulin Cassé :
Towards Champignolle, reach a dirt track and turn right.
Join the road and turn right.
Walk past the Château de Champignolle, then turn left.
Follow the road to the bridge.

Return to the starting point:
Turn left onto the D224.
Just after the 2nd bridge, turn right between the houses
(brick chimney of the old bakery visible).
Follow the path to the Moulin Cassé intersection.
Turn right to return to the starting point.
