La Rançonnette (B3) - 550 m D+ (+)
The La Rançonnette trail takes in both sides of the Rançon valley, in the heart of an unspoilt forest landscape dominated by shady paths and a wild atmosphere.
You'll discover the Château de Mont d'Arnaud, a surprising chalet-style building surrounded by giant sequoias, and the Charmeau menhir, a mysterious reminder of ancient times.
Part of the route follows the GR 131, which runs alongside a historic water pipe that supplies water to Le Creusot.
