"On ne photographie pas le vent", Lectures musicales avec Michel Gillot et Didier Petit

"On ne photographie pas le vent" (We don't photograph the wind) is a little show about photography, looking at things, paying attention to the world and images, both real and mental. There's a reader, an improvising cellist and then a few music stands where images will take their place.

"You make a photograph because you've seen something that catches your eye, that speaks to you, as we say, but without telling you anything very specific, without you putting words to the message you've received. All you put on this fleeting, enigmatic message is the image you captured. And that's that.
Well no, it's not over, not always. Later, one day, when you see this photograph, thoughts come to you, or memories, poems, desires to tell a story, in short, words; words that weren't there when you took this photo but that wouldn't have come if you hadn't taken it and then looked at it."
