An opportunity to find out more about a particular theme linked to the history and landscapes of the Morvan: timber rafting.
Take a tour of the new exhibition space at the Maison des Hommes et des Paysages and discover the history of timber rafting. This industry mobilised most of the Morvan's population from the middle of the 16th century to the middle of the 19th century, and had a number of environmental impacts that are still visible today, particularly on waterways.
