TOLIX is a cult brand of industrial furniture. Its iconic A chair and other furniture models have stood the test of time.
The history of the TOLIX brand begins in Burgundy, in the workshop of Xavier Pauchard, where the TOLIX brand was born in 1908. At the time, he was manufacturing a large number of household items in galvanised sheet metal. He had the idea of offering a whole range of practical, modern furniture that could find a place in any environment.

In 1927, he created the A chair, which became famous the world over. Ten years later, TOLIX chairs were presented at the Universal Exhibition in Paris.
