At 6pm and at the interval: tour of the mill by the association les amis du Prieuré. At 6.30pm "La belle Suzon" by Cie Azalée, traditional song. At 8pm "Les Oubliées" by the B-Side Company, acrobatic circus. This summer, with Scènes en campagne, the Saône-et-Loire department is taking on a new highlight of its heritage: mills and wine presses. There are still a great many of these facilities in the region, and they reflect our economic and technical history, as their mechanisms, perfected over time, have contributed to the mastery of manufacturing processes. Whether it's to produce energy, crush the grapes or extract the juice, they have facilitated the work of men by multiplying the force and thus increasing production. Now sometimes restored and protected as historic monuments, still in use or converted into living quarters, this ingenious and diverse heritage contributes to the knowledge and enhancement of the Saône-et-Loire region. They are opening their doors to us throughout the month of June, a great opportunity to come and discover, during guided tours, these sites that are rarely open to the public.
