    The things themselves, perhaps. Because while Red and Blue are busy putting everything back in order, a kugelhopf mould starts buzzing and a popcorn pan starts sizzling. Is Robot an answer to Lamartine's famous question: "Inanimate objects, do you have a soul? Yes, but not only that. It's also a visual installation where pieces of tape are used to create kinetic machines worthy of Jean Tinguely, a burlesque show where the silhouettes evoke the films of Jacques Tati, and a concert based on items, tools and utensils gleaned from flea markets. Behind Rouge et Bleu are two well-informed music lovers who, with Robot, have found a clever way of introducing young audiences to the experimental musique concrète of Pierre Schaeffer, Pierre Henry and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
