A concert like no other by a singer who, let's face it, is not like the others either.

While he co-wrote and performed the play Les galets au Tilleul... programmed last season, Nicolas Chaigneau is also a seasoned musician, behind a pop/folk project called NINO - and it's precisely because he has several strings to his bow that he regularly treads the stage at L'arc.

Here, in this one-man show with no gelatinous animals, he has chosen to play the role of a singer - and a singer who, after spending his life humming in the shower, has decided to perform in public. What also amuses and delights Nicolas is the discrepancy that sometimes occurs between crooners who are convinced that they can thrill entire stadiums and the sleepy, sparse audience that serves as their backdrop. So, with its human stories told between vocal performances, this Récital Sans Méduses et sans muses manages to make this faltering being touching - and even paroxysmal in its artistic wandering. So it's a safe bet that the girls are naked, that they admire him, that they kill him, that they snatch his virtue. And the boys too...
