From the rue Gaston Joliet car park, walk along rue de la Maladière to arrive in front of the Roman Theatre.
Turn right and walk down to the edge of the Vallon lake.
Walk around the lake, then take the path joining rue du Parc des Drémeaux.
Cross the ferns to reach the footbridge path.
Follow the voie verte, then the route de Saulieu, and admire the Porte d'Arroux.
Turn right and follow the ramparts and the Arroux river.
Head up towards the town centre via Boulevard de l'Industrie, then...From the rue Gaston Joliet car park, walk along rue de la Maladière to arrive in front of the Roman Theatre.

Continue along Boulevard des Résistants fusillés, skirting the ramparts.
Continue up the Boulevard Mac Mahon and admire the Ursulines tower.
Take the Faubourg Saint-Blaise via Rue Victor Terret, then the D120 to Couhard.
Head down Rue du Faubourg Saint-Pancrace to get back to the starting point.
