Les Chemins d'en Haut

Departure - D88 south :
Take the D88, pass the grocery shop.
Walk 50 m, then take the track on the right (GRP and PR).
After 1 km, turn left (leaving the GRP).
Continue for 200 m.
Once on the D88, cross it to reach Varin.

Varin > Les Miens par la Ruée de l'Enfer :
In the hamlet, pass the cross, then turn right.
Follow the path up the Ruée de l'Enfer for 2 km to the hamlet of Les Miens.
At the crossroads, turn left onto the small road.
At the end of the hamlet, take the small track on the right.
Join the road, cross it and take the track opposite.

Towards Montcimet :
Follow this track for 1.5 km to reach Montcimet.
At the first houses, take the dirt track on the right.
After 350 m, join the D88.
Keep left for 250 m, then turn right.
Follow the tarmac road past the chapel.

Towards l'Orme de Brévoigne :
On the left, continue on the dirt track for 1 km.
Turn right towards Orme de Brévoigne.
Follow the track for 1.2 km, then turn right to go to Le Creux.

Le Creux > Sanceray :
Go through the hamlet and past the cross.
After 50 m, turn right onto the road.
Cross the road, then take the track opposite for 1 km.
At the crossroads, turn right.
Continue straight on for 1.3 km (this is the same section as the GRP).

Île d'Elbe > Back to the village :
Cross the bridge over the Île d'Elbe.
Turn right to take the steep path.
Return to the village, your starting point.
