La Boucle de Roussillon

Start: Place de l'Église in Roussillon (car park).
Return to the crossroads, passing the old inn.
Turn right onto the D277 towards Aigreveau.

After the pond, at the fork in the road, turn left into the hamlet.
The road bends to the left: follow it for another 200 m to the junction, then turn left onto the wide dirt track that climbs the ridge.

After about 800m, turn right onto an ancient Gallic track.
It descends and then rises towards the Haut des Ruets plateau.
On the plateau, turn left onto the perpendicular track and follow it for 500 m.

Then turn right onto the track opposite a detached house in the hamlet of Jeusot.
It crosses a small wood and joins another Gallic road, now tarmacked.
Turn right for 300 m.

At the fork in the road, turn right again and head downhill towards the hamlet of Les Barbeaux.
Turn right between the houses.
The tarmac disappears, giving way to a gravel path that descends steeply to the ford of the Ruets (or Bruets) stream.

Cross the stream and turn left onto a good track leading to the Viollots mill on the banks of the Canche.

Turn right onto the D277, then quickly leave it to turn left onto the track that runs alongside the millstream and stream.
This path climbs quite steeply at first.

At the fork halfway up (mark 511), continue straight on up towards the village of Roussillon, then join the Place de l'Église.
