Journées européennes du patrimoine : promenade-découverte avec la Société d'Histoire Naturelle

300 million years ago, a vast marshy forest already covered the "plaine des Riaux" in Le Creusot. While most of the trees have since been turned into coal over the ages, one fossilised tree still stands here. We'll be setting off to discover it, and along the way we'll come across many other testimonies to the "fantastic history" of Le Creusot over the last three million centuries!
