Festival Contes Givrés - spectacle I'm deranged

I'm Deranged is about pain and suspended life, a woman's journey through dictatorship and exile. Alone on stage, Mina dissects her feelings, mixing dreamlike, poetic, grotesque and surreal registers.

Carried along by the enveloping music of Siavash Amini, who is banned from leaving Iran, Mina Kavani takes us into her heart and mind. A fate he and she share with many Iranian artists, exiled inside or outside their country.

Mina Kavani's career was marked by a profound break when, at the age of 21, she left the Iran of the mullahs for the France of freedom. In the meantime, this exile has become permanent, since daring to act out a love scene on screen has prevented her from returning.
