Ensemble Vocal de Bourgogne - Concert MisaTango

Under the direction of talented young choirmaster Jean-Charles Dunand, the Ensemble Vocal de Bourgogne will perform Martin Palmeri's 'Misatango' and a number of short pieces of Spanish and South American music.

"To sing 'Misatango', a mass written in honour of the current Pope by the Argentinian composer Palmeri, the choristers will be accompanied by professional instrumentalists: Patrick Xolin on piano, Patrick Bullier on accordion, and Christian Bigarne on double bass.
Professional dancers Aline Rose and Pauline Popard will perform choreographies to set the tango rhythms of this original score in space.

Join us at the Collegiale Notre-Dame in Beaune on Saturday 24 May 2025 at 8pm for a warm and dynamic concert in which music and dance serve up a religious tradition with a South American twist.
