A completely madcap musical about bingo set to disco beats.

What is it that drives people to flock to bingo games, where you listen feverishly to litanies of numbers before shouting Quine when your box is full?

To shed light on this unfathomable mystery, Franco-Finnish playwright Nicole Genovese has chosen to set her new play in the basement of a village hall and cast 14 performers to portray slightly disillusioned working-class characters. However, despite its subject matter, there is little risk of Diskoteekki descending into gloom, since the Percussions de Strasbourg will be blowing the wind and gust of disco music across the stage, and from the very first bars the whole assembly will be opening their arms, flexing their kneecaps and pointing their fingers in the air as they launch into choruses worthy of Saturday Night Fever.
