RELIEF", a dance performance by the company En Lacets, at the museum.
Using a site-specific approach and a choreographic language created for a trio in constant creation with the live musician, RELIEF aims to breathe as much life as possible - the unexpected - into each performance in a public space. The choreography is a creation of movement based on the sculpting of physical sensations and perceptions of the forces at work in the dancers' mountain bodies and the way they come to life. The repertoire of choreographic movements transcribes geological principles and overturns spatial and temporal scales, bringing the ephemeral individual into conflict with the immutable massif, fusing perpetual movements with instantaneous impulses and breaks, in a meeting between organic bodies and terrestrial entities. Between the giant and the tiny, the trio's movements and points of force will be an opportunity to question and resonate with the environment of the performance venues, and with what inspires the local landscape.
