The company has also developed new business sectors, such as :
- restoration of historic monuments: we have been asked to work on Notre-Dame de Paris, the Palais de Justice in Paris, the Château de Vincennes, etc.
- manufacture of parts in small series
- robotic integration on production lines.
Since 2010, Julien S.A.S. has been part of the AgroComposites Entreprises cluster, a group of manufacturers, researchers and designers working to promote plant-based materials such as hemp and flax in the automotive industry. These materials are environmentally friendly and almost as strong as fibreglass, making cars easier to recycle.
In 2023, Julien S.A.S. was asked to take part in an emblematic project: the restoration of the spire of Notre-Dame de Paris. It made wooden templates to form the lead plates that cover the spire. The work was based on 3D models, with precise testing and machining.
