Everyone has read one or other of Agatha Christie's 66 novels, not counting the collections of short stories. Everyone knows Hercule Poirot. But you have to read the gripping autobiography she wrote between the ages of 60 and 75 to realise the extent to which her fiction is based on her own experience, and how it incorporates the major events of the 20th century. The texts by A. Christie will be read by students from the drama club at the Lycée Bonaparte in Autun.
