On tour across France with "Maxime et moi", Yves Jamait pays a vibrant tribute to Maxime Le Forestier, to whom he owes his love of words.
"When I was a teenager, my encounter with Maxime Le Forestier was a shock that shook up the determinisms I was stuck in. My whole being was turned upside down. Maxime was the trigger. So it was quite naturally - and because I'd been wanting to do it for a long time - that I came up with the idea of a show in which I'd tell you about and sing my own Maxime, and share with you the pleasure I've had in travelling through time with his work as a backdrop.
Yves Jamait shares the stage with Michel Haumont, the picking maestro who has often collaborated with Maxime, and Jérôme Broyer, whose excellence and creativity have accompanied him for over ten years.
"Maxime et Moi" is an invitation to travel, to weave the vines of time, to which the singer from Dijon invites the audience to smile and cry together.
