Les Chantres de Paris summon up all the sensitivity of the work of Arvo Pärt, an Estonian composer born in 1935 whose music bears the imprint of Gregorian chant, plainsong and, more generally, early music. They invite us on a journey of initiation, taking us through the ritual of the Mass for the Dead, better known universally as the Requiem.
