Brasserie VIF

VIF is a microbrewery founded by Lara and Tommy in spring 2021, located in Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy.

As lovers of American beers, we brew an original range that puts the emphasis on hops. As we are passionate about German beers, we also offer bottom-fermented and top-fermented beers in the traditional German style. These beers require patience and precision, finesse and rigour.

We choose the best quality raw materials to make our beers. The ingredients come from French, German, American and Belgian agriculture and are always chosen in keeping with the original style of the chosen recipe.

In May 2025, we moved to a new, larger premises, better able to accommodate the new brewhouse, a tool better adapted and more virtuous to produce with as much care and attention as ever.

The new site in Beaune is home to production, offices and a sales and tasting area, where you'll find Marie, the zythologist and sales representative who joined the adventure in 2025.

Today, the vif range includes 7 permanent products in cans, with elegant packaging hand-crafted by the talented Léonie Young. It's also a range of ephemeral beers, often the result of collaborations with beer enthusiasts, wine merchants, bars and so on.

Our range has recently been extended to include 3 bottled beers, the Panorama range.

In the future, we will continue to experiment, to boldly choose surprising, rare and complex styles of beer, and to share our passion.
