Biennale d'Autun - Festival international d'art sacré contemporain

For 24 days, Autun will be the meeting point between the public and artists from 11 countries around the world. The Biennial offers visitors the chance to discover contemporary sacred art in unusual places in the town of Autun, in the heart of Burgundy, making it an original event that has never been seen before in France.

Painting, sculpture, video, photography, comics, mosaics, dance, readings, performances, cinema, concerts, conferences, meetings with the artists...

60 artists - 150 works - 11 exhibition venues - 12 shows.

For 24 days, there will be a succession of evening shows, concerts, dance, videos, performances, lectures, workshops* and meetings with the artists...

There will also be guided tours:
Every day at 2pm (leaving from the Cellier du Chapitre, place du Terreau).
Duration: 1 hour, with visits to 6 exhibition venues around the cathedral.
Limited to 19 people.

*Participatory workshops:
Every day at 3pm: Watercolour workshop in water (Sarkis) and Scriptorium (Éden Morfaux).
Meet at the chapel of Notre-Dame des Bonnes Œuvres et des sept Dormants (Place Sainte-Barbe).
