    In the heart of the town centre, in the historic setting of the Hôtel de Ville, the Bussy-Rabutin library opens the doors to its exceptional old collection, a real treasure trove for history, literature and bibliophile enthusiasts.

    Listed since 1972 for the quality and wealth of its collections, the library houses one of the most remarkable ancient collections in Burgundy. Rare manuscripts, old editions and incunabula bear witness to several centuries of knowledge and creativity.

    The ancient collection includes more than 50,000 printed works, 400 manuscripts - 240 of which predate the XVIᵉ century, 200 incunabula (works printed before 1500) and 2,300 editions from the XVIᵉ century.
