On board your coach, your guide will reveal the prestige of this city as you visit the Gallo-Roman monuments: the Ancient Theatre, the Gates, the Temple of Janus and the Ramparts. You will then discover the sumptuous cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque art and rated 3 stars in the Michelin guide (outside and inside if there is no ceremony), as well as the medieval quarter.

You will then enjoy a dinner of regional specialities in one of Autun's restaurants: oeufs en meurette, jambon persillé, terrine, leg of duck confit, cheek of beef confit à la Bourguignonne...

    EVENING :
Between 8pm and 9.30pm, take your seats in the tiers of the Théâtre Antique d'Autun. The show starts at 10pm. You'll be treated to a spectacular show featuring hundreds of costumed characters.
"AUGUSTODUNUM, le Rêve du Roi" will plunge you into a dazzling historical epic, from antiquity to the Renaissance, where sound and light combine to reveal the splendour of Autun.
Chariot races, gladiatorial combat, dances, fire scenes, chivalry tournaments and a parade of acrobats set the energetic pace of this new show, which ends with the triumphant arrival of King François 1st in Autun, the French Rome.
Finally, the skies over Autun are set ablaze by a magical firework display to round off an unforgettable evening.
