Come and experience a grandiose show with hundreds of costumed characters.
AUGUSTODUNUM, le rêve du Roi.... plunges you into a dazzling historical epic, from antiquity to the Renaissance, where sound and light combine to reveal the splendour of Autun.
Chariot races, gladiatorial combat, dances, fire scenes, chivalry tournaments and a parade of acrobats set the energetic pace of this new show, which ends with the triumphal arrival of King François 1st in Autun, the French Rome.
Finally, the skies over Autun are set ablaze by a magical firework display to round off an unforgettable evening.

Grandstands open at 8pm and the show starts at around 10pm.

We recommend arriving before 9.30pm.

The ancient theatre offers good visibility throughout.

*A space and a car park are reserved for people with reduced mobility. It is imperative to report to the security barriers in order to gain access to the entrance with your vehicle.

* The Théâtre Antique is a 10-minute walk from the town centre car parks: Place du Champ de Mars, Place Deguin and Hexagone.

* Avenue du 2ème Dragons will be closed from 7pm.

* Knives, sharp objects, all glass objects and chairs are prohibited.
